I feel elements of book design create interesting structures such as the examples I found below from the book "Book Design" by Andrew Haslam. They are layout templates/examples and ways to lay a page design out to make it pleasing to the eye, while considering pagination and typography too with the first image. With these images, it is not the purpose of them (such as helping with layout) that I find interesting, but the actual patterns, shapes and structures that they create. I think this kind of structure would be interesting to focus on as it has a link back to graphic design and my interest in books.
