This invite was created for the graduate show of the university of Brighton's School of Historical and Critical Studies Graduate Show and Private View in 2007. The image was created using layers of hand cut paper and is created using the words graduate show on different layers. I love the simplicity of the design and the tactile effect of the layers, while the final thing is a flat piece of printed material. This combination of a 3D effect used as a flat print is a great idea as you have the detail and texture of the paper cut without having the delicateness of the paper cut being a problem with distribution and reproduction.
